Traveling to Tucson
There are several airlines that fly into Tucson (TUS). However, you may also want to consider flying into Phoenix (PHX) as flights can be a bit cheaper. From Phoenix to Tucson is just under 2 hours drive time.

Camping at the Event
​Camping is allowed at TIMPA. RV parking is to the South and East of the restrooms. There are no hookups.
DO NOT dump water at TIMPA. The restrooms are on a septic system which is not adequate for outside water.
No fires. Gas barbeque is ok.
There is a $50 charge for motorhome parking. This covers arrivals October 5 or later and departures October 13 or earlier. To explore the possibility of arrivals and departures outside this interval, send email to aerobatic.shootout@gmail.com 

Things to do while in town

Take a tour of the Desert Aircraft facility and see the engines being machined and built. We are open Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm.

The Pima Air and Space Museum is a cool place to check out if you get into town early. You can get more info at www.pimaair.org.

 Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a 98-acre zoo, aquarium, botanical garden, natural history museum, publisher, and art gallery founded in 1952. Open everyday from 8:30 to 5pm. More info at www.desertmuseum.org
